Demands of some Heavy Duty Loads


MPP technology is regarded as the best technology today, the world over, due to high optimization in Material Consumption, Manufacturing Processes & Performance Parameters. This technology is very economical in both Capital Cost & Operational Cost & is based on simple, yet sophisticated Production Processes.


It is therefore not necessary to build in large overload withstand capacity in all capacitors to meet demands of some heavy duty loads. These demands of heavy duty loads are few. To meet demands of these loads, using MPP Film advantages, Double Dielectric Capacitors are designed & manufactured.


These Double Dielectric Capacitors are recommended for loads like Rectifiers; Arc or Induction Furnaces; Large Rolling Mills etc.


Electrical Parameters


KVAR Range

1 to 25 KVAR in single units. With parallel connecting of units ( banking )  desired KVAR range can be achieved.

Rated Voltage & Frequency

230/415/440 Volts AC are standard voltage ratings.   Capacitors for other voltages can be supplied on request. Standard   Frequency is 50 Hz / 60 Hz.

Temperature Range

55°C Ambient.

Phases & Connections

Single Phase & Three Phase ( with internal Delta connection ).

Losses in the Capacitor unit

Less than 0.5 Watts per KVAR.
